Overtime
After a gruelling night of overtime, you’re ready to leave it all behind—but the lift has other plans. Each stop drags you deeper into a twisted, claustrophobic nightmare where reality unravels and unseen forces close in. You’ll soon realize that going down might be the easy part. Brace yourself for a slow descent where every floor holds a new horror, each more unsettling than the last. Can you make it out, or will you be trapped forever in this endless descent?

I like the art style and the sounds, but I think I missed something with the gameplay. All I do is press space and the lift goes up and down?
Yeah it's a simple horror experience made for the Synty Spooky Jam 2024. You press space to interact (close lift, turn on lights etc). I wanted to add more interactions but ran out of time because I focused on the scares. The whole game is less than 10 minutes but I really wanted to focus on the atmosphere.

thanks so much for the positive feedback. I have a couple ideas on how to expand this. I think it would work really well in VR and with a grittier art style. Also some procedural elements would be cool.
